On 22 September 2025, the Branch Centre for Retraining and Professional Development of Teaching Staff at TSUE and UIBE developed a draft Memorandum of Cooperation and prepared it for signing to expand their international partnership.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in the following key areas:
- Sharing experience in education and research;
- Establishing cooperation among teaching staff, researchers and specialists;
- Organising joint research projects and seminars;
- Establishing exchanges of teaching staff and course participants;
- Conducting joint research funded by international grants;
- Developing joint professional development programmes for teaching staff.
The memorandum is intended to support the development of joint professional development programmes for teaching staff. The draft has been prepared and agreed by both parties. It covers a five-year period and may be extended by mutual consent. The memorandum will support international cooperation in education, teachers’ professional development and stronger research capacity.
