On 12 September 2025, at the initiative of Professor Ismoil Saifnazarov, an educational and cultural activity was organised for Economics and Marketing and Logistics course participants at the TSUE Branch Centre for Retraining and Professional Development of Teaching Staff. Its purpose was not only to improve professional knowledge and skills, but also to enrich participants’ cultural awareness and strengthen their respect for historical memory and national values.
Participants visited the Islam Karimov scientific and educational memorial complex, established in memory of Uzbekistan’s First President. Known as the Oqsaroy Residence, the complex was the setting for important state decisions and historic events in the country’s recent history. Today it serves both as a memorial and as an educational centre, offering young people and researchers a rich cultural and historical resource.
At the museum, participants learned about the childhood and youth of First President Islam Abduganievich Karimov, his education, political career and contribution to the development of the state. Modern interactive screens and multimedia presented extracts from his historic speeches, state programmes and public addresses. Participants also explored the academic and cultural literature held in the museum’s library and reading room.
During the visit, Professor I. Saifnazarov led a practical field session on “New Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy and the Spiritual Foundations of Society”. He discussed the principles of statehood in New Uzbekistan, ethical and cultural values, and their role in society.
The session and visit left a deep impression on participants and contributed to their professional and personal development. Participants emphasised that such activities provide teaching staff with knowledge and experience while helping to develop civic responsibility and personal maturity.
